About me:

Welcome, I’m Chandler Best, a degree-qualified naturopath with a clinical focus on POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) and complex chronic health conditions.

My path into naturopathy was shaped by my own health journey. Years of navigating persistent, overlapping symptoms led me to herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle support, not as abstract concepts, but as practical tools that genuinely improved my quality of life. Through that experience, I found my calling: supporting others to better understand their bodies and feel more stable, informed, and supported in their health.

Living with POTS, alongside Autism and ADHD, has given me a deep appreciation for how complex and demanding chronic illness can be particularly when symptoms fluctuate, energy is limited, and nervous system sensitivity is high. It has also shaped how I practice. Care is paced, realistic, and designed to work with your capacity, not against it.

My approach is neuroaffirming and trauma-informed. This means recognising nervous system sensitivity, sensory needs, communication differences, and the impact that medical dismissal or prolonged stress can have on the body. Appointments are collaborative, respectful, and adaptable, with an emphasis on safety, consent, and empowerment rather than pressure or overwhelm.

I understand the realities of invisible illness: the unpredictability, the physical strain, and the emotional toll of feeling dismissed or misunderstood. This perspective allows me to offer care that is evidence-informed, compassionate, and grounded in real life, especially for those balancing health alongside family, work, and daily responsibilities.

As a mother of two, I also know how busy and full life can be. My approach prioritises practical, sustainable changes in nutrition, lifestyle, and nervous system support, focusing on what is achievable and meaningful, rather than perfection.

I’ve seen first-hand the impact that targeted herbal medicine and nutritional support can have when used thoughtfully and individually. My goal is to empower you with understanding, clarity, and personalised care, so you can feel more confident navigating your health and supported throughout the process.
